Portable Venturi Scrubber for
Laboratory or Emergency Use

Tri-Mer's portable "eductor-type" venturi scrubber is
manufactured in capacities as small as 100 cfm.

In an eductor venturi, scrubbing liquid is passed through a
nozzle and contaminants are entrained onto the liquid stream. 
The system is suitable for particulate that is adhesive in nature.

It is ideal for laboratory use and can also be used for accidental
releases or leaks, and to evacuate equipment such as hoses and
piping during maintenance.  The portable venturi is also used
when there's a change of process. 

This compact, low profile venturi scrubber is 98.5 to 99.5%
efficient for the collection of particulate 3.0 microns to .5 microns. 
It can be used for gas streams with heavy particulate loading,
and will also collect trace gases. The portable venturi operates
on AC power and is manufactured in polypropylene, PVC or
stainless steel.

The system requires very little maintenance; like the Tri-Mer
Whirl Wet, which is used for collecting large particulate, the
portable venturi is self-cleaning.  There are no fans or packing
material used. The portable venturi is 4X4X2' and cart-mounted.
